Established in 1989, the family-run business provides document production and print and document management to organisations across the north of England.
Sales director at ABS UK Brett Abson said “Since we relocated the business to Elland from Bradford last year, the business has gone from strength-to-strength. The move was part of our focus to become more engaged in our local business community and it seems to have paid off.”
ABS has recently secured a 40% annual saving for HRUFC by carrying out a free print consultancy.
ABS was also hired by Huddersfield Community Trust to assess its printing systems.
By installing a more cost-effective, efficient and environmentally-friendly device, the Trust received an annual saving of 33%.
The savings will allow the charity provide more community sports and educational activities on behalf of Huddersfield Town Football Club, which has also signed a new deal with the print specialist.
As part of the new deal, ABS has joined forces with printing specialist DEVELOP to provide the club’s printing equipment.
The firm provide all maintenance, technical support and consumable deliveries to manage the club’s office printing.
DEVELOP’s role in the partnership is to sponsor the team, with their branding appearing on the home and away playing shorts.
The sponsorship is in conjunction with Ripponden-based DSales (UK) - the UK distributor of the DEVELOP range of document imaging system.
Mr Abson said: “We are delighted to join DEVELOP in this new partnership with Huddersfield Town which will see us deliver ongoing print management services to help overhaul the club’s office printing systems.
“We are excited about the opportunities this new partnership will bring and are proud to be supporting our local club.”
Managing director of DSales Jonathan Whitworth commented: “We are proud to be involved with such a forward-looking Club both on and off the field, I believe the partnership between Develop, Huddersfield Town and ABS UK will benefit everyone concerned.
“We are looking forward to being involved in a very successful season for the Club.”
