The range of pies will consist of nine different varieties including venison and red wine gravy, and traditional steak pies with puff pastry.
All of the pieces that will be supplied to Lidl are produced in Shotts, where Bells Food Group is based, and the deal will see the products sold across all of Lidl’s 91 stores in Scotland,
Gordon Smith, sales and marketing director at Bells Food Group, said: "We produce more than 30 million pies every year from our production base in Shotts.
"Bells Food Group is pleased that Lidl has chosen us as its principal supplier for this range. With an 85-year history and generations of food expertise, Bells looks forward to serving the Lidl consumer with a range of great tasting quality pies."
The deal adds to the supermarket’s increasing range of Scottish products, following significant investment in its Scottish supplier base over the last six months.
