Innis & Gunn surpass £1m target in three days

Just three days after launching its AdventureCapital™ crowdfunding campaign, independent Scottish craft brewer Innis & Gunn has reached its target of £1m.

The brewer launched AdventureCapital™ to the public on Tuesday, 1st November, after a 24-hour exclusive access period for its BeerBond® holders. Strong demand from investors saw the £500,000 mark surpassed in under 48 hours.

The investment platform is being kept open to give everyone who hasn’t yet had a chance to invest the opportunity to still own a piece of Innis & Gunn and join their shareholder community. Additional funds that are invested will go towards accelerating the programme of rolling Innis & Gunn’s Beer Kitchens in England and North America.

Dougal Gunn Sharp, founder and master brewer at Innis & Gunn, said: "The response from the public has been overwhelming. We did not expect to reach the target in such a short time, we are absolutely thrilled, and grateful to all of our investors so far – we can’t wait to get started on this next chapter together.

"Making great craft beer has been at the heart of this crowdfunding campaign, so it’s been excellent sharing our passions with so many investors. Every penny we raise is going to grow our potential to make even more great beer".
