The WeDO Scotland Awards Ceremony and Dinner, this year in the Sheraton Grand Hotel, is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the entrepreneur’s calendar.

WeDO is one of Scotland’s foremost organisations for entrepreneurs with over 160 members across Scotland, and 40% of its members are business women. Members are from a variety of industry sectors ranging from new start businesses to high growth to turnover of £75m. In October, WeDO Scotland launched its Young Members Club, for entrepreneurs under 35, and already has nearly 50 members.
"It’s important to us to not only support high growth entrepreneurs but also those who are at an earlier stage as well as those starting their journey," said Belinda.
The ethos of WeDO is about sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences. The organisation supports member by facilitating introduction, giving guidance and helping companies grow their business.
The winner of the WeDO Scotland Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2013 was Dougie Walker, founder and chief executive officer of Claymore Global Solutions.
While Belinda Roberts is founder, the chairman is Russell Dalgleish, and general manager is Gill Eastgate.
