CMS, the global law firm that took over Scotland’s largest legal practice, Dundas & Wilson, in 2014, is taking 22,000 square feet over two floors at 1 West Regent Street.
The newly completed-Grade A office block in Glasgow, which was developed by M&G Real Estate and a fund managed by Clearbell.
The firm, which will move into the offices from its present location at 191 West George Street, has taken a ten-year lease on the space, which it expects to occupy in May 2016. CMS has 59 offices in 33 countries across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia, and employs more than 3,500 lawyers. Engineering firm Weir Group, media company Global and professional services firms Arup and FDM Group are poised to move into the development.
Restaurant chain Giraffe opened on the ground floor in July 2015.
More than 60% of the building has already been let, with three-and-a-half floors still available.
