The firm is continuing its rapid growth, after being selected to supply the set for James Bond movie Spectre, with the opening of its sixth site across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Ross Nicholl, director and co-founder of The Wooden Floor Store, said: “Our premises are not the only part of the business to grow.
“We are looking to add new staff members to our 30-strong workforce.
“We have also brought in a number of new product lines to the Falkirk store to add to the 300 we already offer across the rest of Scotland and online.”
Sourcing most of their raw material from sustainable suppliers in Europe and the United States, by minimising distance from Grangemouth port to store, it is hoped that the firm can offer lower prices.
Ross’s business partner, fellow co-founder and director Richard Snape, added: “Since founding the business in 2000 we’ve enjoyed sustained growth and we’re looking to continue that trend.
“As well as investing further in the Scottish side of the company, we are looking to expand into England.”
