NB Gin served at exclusive charity gala

North Berwick-based NB Gin, which was voted the world’s best in 2015, and NB Vodka, the world’s first London Dry Citrus Vodka, was served to high society at the lavish Houghton Hall last night.

The £10,000-a-head invitation-only party saw 80 guests attend the stately home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley in aid of the East Anglia Children’s Hospice, a charity which Kate Middleton became a patron of in 2012.

NB Gin has gained a strong reputation after being served at a host of exclusive events including the BRIT Awards after party.

The Scottish gin, founded by husband and wife Steve and Viv Muir, was the only gin to be included in a commemorative Royal book – The Queen At 90.

CEO of NB Gin Viv Muir said: “This is another proud moment for us. For our gin to be chosen for such an exclusive event really is quite an honour and it is further evidence of how far the brand has come in a short space of time.

“The last couple of years in particular have been incredible for us and it’s such a wonderful thing to see the brand we created in our kitchen in North Berwick being part of some of the glitziest events in the world.”

Tickets for the fundraising gala started at £6,000 but guests who opted to stay at the stately home after the bash forked out up to £10,000.

As well as the award-winning NB Gin, guests were treated to a five-star menu from top chefs including Tom Kerridge and a lecture by acclaimed English novelist Anthony Horowitz.
