Rearo lands £1m Meyer Timber deal

Rearo, the UK supplier and manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen surfaces, has secured a £1m distribution deal with Meyer Timber for its bathroom wall panel product, Selkie.

The deal will see Rearo’s full Selkie range made available across England and Wales courtesy of Meyer Timber’s leading delivery service.

The Selkie range will be distributed from Meyer Timber’s depots in Stoke and Tilbury, and Rearo estimates the value of the deal at up to £1m per year.

Norrie McLeod, sales and product manager at Rearo, said: "Distributing Selkie through Meyer is an excellent opportunity for us, it will increase Selkie’s exposure across the UK.

"Selkie customers will now be able to order the range and have it delivered much more quickly, which will be a great boost for merchants.

"Our distribution agreement with Meyer means we can reach the whole of the UK, quickly, and builds on our existing networks.

"Selkie is our best-selling ranges. For householders and commercial premises alike, it offers an attractive, affordable and low maintenance alternative to tiling in wet areas."

Selkie bathroom panels are available across the UK through Rearo’s distributors and in any of its seven show rooms in Ayr, Gateshead, Glasgow, Inverness, Lerwick, Newport and Rosyth.

The company’s headquarters and manufacturing centre are in Glasgow.
