Entrepreneurs fly in for Startup Summit

Entrepreneurs, investors and media are flying in from around the world to take part in Scotland’s Startup Summit on 14 November.

The Startup Summit brings together world leading entrepreneurs from across the globe to share ideas, inspiration and advise budding entrepreneurs on how to start and grow a business.

Over 1,000 entrepreneurs are expected to be attending the fifth annual Startup Summit at Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms alongside many more online.

Peter Ranscombe, editor of BQ Scotland magazine, will be interviewing Duncan Logan, founder of the RocketSpace technology campus in San Francisco, live on stage as part of the summit.

Ranscombe said: "I'm really excited about meeting Duncan and hearing how he setup RocketSpace.

"Duncan is a Scot who has made a name for himself overseas, so it'll be interesting to get his perspective on our nation's entrepreneurial ecosystem."

Other speakers include Keith Brown MSP, Brian Williamson of Jumpstart, Lucy-Rose Walker of Entrepreneurial Spark and Andrew Dobbie of MadeBrave among others.

Tickets are still available for the event and can be purchased here.
