Taking place across 12 Hatchery locations in the UK the awards marked the halfway point in the business accelerator programme after three months of hard work from the chiclets.
In each Hatchery up to £10,000 was awarded to local businesses.
Having impressed the judging team with their significant business and personal growth since joining Entrepreneurial Spark, as well as their drive to take their start-up to the next level, 46 Entrepreneurs won the #GoDoAcceler8 award and £2,000 for their business.
On the night 96 Entrepreneurs delivered their 60 second pitch to a panel of judges, with 24 Chiclets walking away with the Pitching competition prize of £1,000 cash.
Lucy-Rose Walker, co-founder and chief entrepreneuring officer (CEO) at Entrepreneurial Spark said: "The #GoDoAcceler8 awards mark the halfway point for Chiclets on the Entrepreneurial Spark Powered by NatWest programme, and it’s an opportunity for us all to take a step back and reflect on the remarkable progress each of them has made.
"Since August alone our entrepreneurs have secured substantial investment, signed monumental deals, and created a number of jobs across the country, and I know our judges have had a hard time choosing just a few winners per Hatchery.
"Our Chiclets’ hard work and dedication is testament to their growth, and I would like to congratulate each and every one of them– regardless of whether they won an award or not. Now it’s time to #GoDo and make these next three months even better!"
Dale Sidebottom, entrepreneur development manager at NatWest, added: "It’s been fantastic to see how much the Chiclets have grown and progressed over the past three months, and recognising their hard work and commitment to Entrepreneurial Spark through the #GoDoAcceler8 Awards is very important.
"The Chiclets have shown a tremendous amount of passion, creativity and commitment to their businesses. It can be daunting starting and growing your own business but the entrepreneurs in each Hatchery have had fantastic support from all the partners involved and are proving to be a such a positive reflection of the country’s vibrant start-up community."
