Scottish companies invited to brave this year’s Pitchfest Challenge

Venturefest Scotland is inviting innovative, early-stage Scottish companies to take part in this year’s Pitchfest Challenge - a live pitching competition taking place during the show on Wednesday, September 20 at the Glasgow Science Centre.

Sponsored by European patent and trade mark Attorneys, Murgitroyd, between 12 and 15 companies will go head-to head in front of a panel of investors and business experts, with the chance to win £750 in cash and £750 in-kind, IP consultancy services. The winner will also receive two days of expert support from Scottish Enterprise.

Fiona McKenzie, marketing manager Europe for Murgitroyd, said: "We are delighted to sponsor Pitchfest at Venturefest Scotland - the Scottish start-up ecosystem is one of the most exciting in the world, and we want to support its growth. We wish all the participants the very best of luck!"

Entrants must have been trading for less than three years and must submit their application by Friday, September 1. If you think you’ve got what it takes, contact for an application form.
