Scottish recruitment consultancy Primestaff has announced plans to open two offices in England as part of an ambitious expansion strategy.
This comes as the company has announced it will rebrand its Leeds, Scunthorpe and Corby offices as Primestaff, officially bringing its English presence in line with the parent company. Previously, Primestaff’s English operations had been operating as Direct Workforce, after the company was acquired late last year.
Primestaff’s managing director Tony Vezza said: “When we first acquired Direct Workforce, it was part of a strategic plan to establish a presence in the North of England. In the 10 months since the acquisition, we’ve been encouraged by the high-performance in the region and ultimately, that has accelerated our plans.
“We believe this rebranding, which is the final step in integration of the two companies, will solidify our English presence, extinguish any confusion in the marketplace and create a platform for further growth across the country.
“Primestaff has an unrivalled reputation for excellent levels of service, both for our candidates and clients. Thanks to the extremely talented team we brought on board last year, that reputation now extends to both sides of the border and that’s why we have the confidence to look to opening new offices in England, initially in Birmingham and Manchester.
“We have the systems, culture and expertise in place to accelerate growth across the UK while continuing to provide the level of service which has helped us sustain growth in recent years.”
Currently with over 40 employees, the company is recruiting across the board and expects to hit 70 employees across eight offices by 2020.
This is in line with plans to increase the workforce by 75% in England and to bring total staffing to over 100 in the next five years.
As well as growth in England, Primestaff is planning further investment to boost its Edinburgh industrial division.
