Sarah Frame-O'Hare
A Moray businesswoman has formed a collaboration with one of the world’s biggest drinks companies.
Sarah Frame-O’Hare who owns Strategy Cards, is now working alongside Coca Cola and has developed a new set of cards for one of the firm’s mentoring programs.
Sarah’s enterprising idea was spotted at a conference and the new set of cards will be used by the Coca Cola 5by20, an initiative to enable the economic empowerment of 5 million women entrepreneurs by 2020.
Sarah set up Strategy Cards Limited in November 2016 which combines card game-based tools with over 30 professional topics, covering business planning, digital marketing, GDPR, ISO standards, mentoring, HR and more. The cards are designed for managers, trainers and consultants to quickly, and creatively use for strategy planning and in team meetings and workshops.
Sarah said she was delighted to be working with Coca Cola: “It all seems a bit surreal, but of course I am delighted to be working with such a huge firm that has such strong values about supporting women in business.
“My cards were spotted at a conference I attended by Angie Foreman who runs the Coca Cola 5by20 project for Scotland. I have been working with Angie on creating a set of cards that can be used to carry forward the mentoring programme and roll it out even further across the country. It’s a great opportunity for the business, but I love the fact that the cards we have created will be used to support women in business. In some way, that is more of a win for me.”
Angie Foreman, the Coca-Cola 5by20 programme director for Scotland said: “I met Sarah at the Association of Scottish Business Women’s (ASB) Unstoppable Women Conference in June. As a conference exhibitor for the Coca-Cola 5by20 programme I made a point of visiting the other stands, and that’s where I met Sarah. As a trainer and facilitator, I know how important it is to have stimulating tools and resources that create opportunities for conversation and creativity, needless to say when Sarah showed me her array of business focused strategy cards and how they worked, I was hooked.
“I just loved the simplicity and uniqueness of this concept, so much so that we set up a meeting to discuss how Sarah could create a bespoke set of cards for the Coca-Cola 5by20 Dundee mentoring programme. Within a matter of days we had agreed the branding and design, card content and themes. Throughout Sarah has been super professional, enthusiastic and great to work with.”
Sarah’s cards will now be used for the launch of the Dundee Coca-Cola 5by20 Mentoring programme where each mentor will receive a pack of Mentoring Strategy Cards as part of their tool-kit.
Angie said: “We are very excited about this and can’t wait to begin working with Sarah on other topics as well.”
