Regular digital features

Regular digital features

Alongside our stories of entrepreneurship and updates on business success, we also publish regular feature series on our digital channels. With features on starting up, trading internationally, quirky workplaces and business leadership, there's sure to be a way your business can get involved.

  • All editorial should be over 500 words; Q&A should be over 750, please.
  • We don't operate to specific deadlines because we publish regularly.
  • The Meet the MD feature in particular can get quite busy, so please expect that it may take us a little while to publish your piece!
  • Fancy submitting your piece as a video rather than a written reply? Go right ahead!

NEW: Show us your office pets! Full information here.

How do I...: If you're an expert on a particular business topic and have specific advice you'd like to share on how to do something, then we want to hear from you. Get involved by completing a short template form to share your piece of advice and we'll publish those we feel are most relevant for BQ readers on our website. Key topics we'll be covering will include: people & skills; starting up; scaling up; digital; and innovation, so we're particularly interested in hearing your tips in those areas. For examples, view our previous 'How do I...' articles here.

Meet the MD: This feature is a Q&A interview based on a template. We’re targeting MDs/CEOs/those ultimately in charge of businesses, and looking for reasonably detailed and interesting responses. For examples, view all our previous Meet the MD articles here.

Start-up stories: Again, from a template interview format, we write up an article which discusses how a business goes from concept to reality, and the challenges it faces. This is really aimed at businesses under two years old with something unique/special/interesting about the way they started up. For examples, view our previous Start-up Stories here.

Around the world in 80 trades: businesses can be featured in our attempt to circumnavigate the world by joining together the countries that they export to. We're keen to understand their experiences of trading overseas and share positive stories. for examples, view all our previous Around the World in 80 Trades articles here.
