The firm has leased a new 15,000 sq ft office building from IM Properties for its new UK headquarters.
“This new building has been designed specifically to meet the needs of our business as we plan for the future,” said Andrew Griffiths, Managing Director of Prologis UK. “Solihull is an excellent location for Prologis, so we are very pleased to have the opportunity to stay here and join the growing business community at Blythe Valley Park.”
IM Properties has submitted a planning application for the new building to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. It anticipates that construction will start in early 2017 and that the building will be ready for occupation in 2018.
“We are delighted that Prologis has chosen Blythe Valley Park for its new UK headquarters,” said Lewis Payne, Development Director at IM Properties.
“The sustainable credentials of the building will marry well with the sustainability of the Park as a whole, which boasts an exemplar sustainable drainage system and a 122-acre country park, which wraps the development. Well-being is a big part of the BVP offer.”
