BrandContent bolsters offering and welcomes new Voice Interface Designer
BrandContent, a content marketing agency for the technology and financial services industries, has launched a ‘voice’ division drawing on its content marketing expertise and applying it to emerging technologies.
As part of this expansion, BrandContent has hired former product designer at the GoCompare Group, Michael Gearon, who takes the role of UX Designer. His data-driven background, experience in AI and optimising cross-channel customer conversion have led to significant revenue uplifts for brands.
Growth Street appoints Gareth Pritchard as business development manager for Wales and South-West
Alternative finance specialist Growth Street has announced the appointment of Gareth Pritchard as the firm’s first business development manager covering Wales and the South-West of England.
Gareth has been embedded in the Welsh SME community for almost 20 years, predominantly within the SME division of Lloyds Bank. Gareth joined the bank’s apprenticeship scheme in 2001, progressing through to senior roles in the SME Global Transaction Banking Division.
Carter Jonas appoints leading minerals & waste team
Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has enhanced its capabilities in minerals and waste management with the appointment of a new team from environmental and advisory solutions company, SLR Consulting. David Sandbrook and Huw Richards join as Partner with Michael Hayes and Alexa Phelps as Associate Partner and Surveyor respectively.
The four join the firm’s Birmingham office and a newly established satellite office in Cardiff. They will bring new expertise to Carter Jonas’ established minerals and waste management team, widening the scope of services and its geographical reach to provide professional advice to land and mineral owners, financial institutions, infrastructure clients and businesses across the country.
Bouygues UK CSR Manager appointed as one of Wales’ first Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Ambassadors
Increasing Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) throughout the construction sector supply chain is one of the challenges facing Julie Timothy of Bouygues UK, as she has been appointed one of Wales’ first FIR ambassadors.
As part of the work of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, FIR Ambassadors have been trained and appointed in the construction sector to imbed principles of equality and diversity into their companies.
With that in mind, Julie Timothy, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager for Bouygues UK for South Wales and the West, has been appointed as a FIR Ambassador.

Ex Admiral CEO joins US comparison site
The former chief executive of Admiral has joined the board of a US-based comparison site majority owned by the Cardiff-headquartered insurer, with his wife also taking a stake.
Henry Engelhardt has joined Compare.com, while Diane Engelhardt will invest $25m (£19.4m) for a 17% share.
