The luxury car manufacturer clinched the top spot ahead of pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca in second place and Harrods in third.
The survey carried out between 6 Oct and 26 Oct for Bloomberg by Statista ranks the top 400 employers in the UK with over 500 employees.
Speaking to Bloomberg, JLR executive director of human resources and global purchasing, Ian Harnett, said: "Over the past five years, we have created more than 20,000 new jobs and are investing significantly in the future of Jaguar Land Rover by recruiting and developing the people that will help ensure our continued success.” The company is now looking to invest in its Midlands operations after plans to consult with Coventry City Council on an expansion of its R&D centre at Whitley were announced earlier this week. Thousands of jobs could be created if the plans are given the go-ahead.
