Evans Cycles will open its first store in the town in early spring after agreeing a 10-year lease on a 3,349 sq ft ground floor unit on Warwick Street.
The store will offer a wide range of products including bikes, cycle clothing, accessories and parts as well as an on-site cycle servicing facility.
Mike Rice, of Evans Cycles, said: “Leamington is well-known for its vibrant retail market, and pulls people in from across the region. We want to take advantage of that and add to the strong retail offer.
“Its strong transport links will also enable us to give new customers situated along the M40 corridor access to an Evans Cycles store for the first time.
“We are looking forward to moving into the unit which benefits from good visibility, a great town centre location, and also provides customers with access to parking either outside of the store or in local car parks.
“We will be looking to undertake a fit out at the store in the New Year and will be recruiting around 15 staff ahead of the planned opening in early spring 2016.”
Evans Cycles is one of Britain’s largest bike retailers with 58 stores located across the UK and employs more than 1,000 staff.
The firm signed the lease with Reeves & Partners, which acted on behalf of the landlord Hatchback Ltd.
