Based in Alpha Tower, the firm is in the running for ‘New Agency of the Year’ – the only Midlands agency to be nominated – as well as ‘Integrated Campaign of the Year’ at the national PR Moment Awards.
Story is the only agency outside of London to be shortlisted for new agency of the year.
The nomination for best integrated campaign is for Story’s work with John Lewis. Story helped the brand launch its flagship Birmingham store with a 10-month campaign that saw it celebrate the city and engage city stakeholders and consumers alike.
The team also launched ‘Brumscape’ - the largest ever panoramic picture taken of the city’s skyline – which was received more than 6.6 million impressions on Twitter within 24 hours of being launched.
Headed by former Marketing Birmingham comms chief Amanda Lowe, Story Comms’ first year in business saw it win a succession of new clients including John Lewis, Visit Birmingham, Finance Birmingham and Seven Capital.
