Acivico invests in Louisa House

Birmingham-based professional services company Acivico has invested in new offices at Quay Place’s Louisa House.

The company, which was previously based at 1 Lancaster Circus Queensway, has agreed a 10-year lease on all three floors of the building, totaling 19,461 sq ft.

Acivico was set up by Birmingham City Council in 2012 to offer a range of construction and property related services to public and private sector organisations.

In 2015, additional services were added, including design, construction, facilities management, building consultancy, laboratories, catering and cleaning.

Acivico currently employs around 500 people, of which around 230 will be based at Louisa House.

Chief executive Trevor Haynes said: “We are looking forward to moving to Quay Place this Summer. It is a significant event in the young life of Acivico, which marks the start of growth, independence and establishing our brand in professional and commercial surroundings.

“With part of our core service sitting in the design and construction arena we plan to use this fantastically positioned property to showcase our in house expertise, which will help us continue to lay down more roots as a thriving Birmingham company. I look forward to working with all stakeholders on this exciting project.”

Quay Place comprises six separate office buildings, totaling 101,256 sq ft, configured around a central courtyard.

Tenants include Legal Ombudsman, Ecorys and the National Deaf Children’s Society.
