The recently opened branch is the second nursery in the area opened by Kim Rani, after she experienced high demand for spaces at the original Kiddies World Day nursery.
The nursery offers government-funded places for children aged 2-5 years old, providing before and after school care, as well as holiday clubs for children attending local schools.
Ms Rani said: “We had seen a lot of interest in our first nursery in Bartley Green, and we realised there was scope for us to expand our services and open a new branch in the area.”
With the help of funding from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking the former Woodcock Pub on Hillwood Road has been renovated into the new Kiddies World Pre-School, with room to cater for 75 children aged 2-11 years old.
The second floor of the building has been converted into four separate office spaces, which will be sub-let.
Ms Rani continued: “The funding has enabled us to fulfil our growth plans whilst creating 14 new jobs, and we look forward to continuing to grow the business and provide childcare for more families across the Birmingham area.”
