Restaurant brings 100 new jobs to Birmingham

One of Birmingham’s most popular restaurant brands is looking to add to its growing team, as it hosts a recruitment day to fill 100 new roles in the city.

On 30 May, Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill Birmingham will be hosting a series of drop-in sessions to recruit a team of 100 new employees across its portfolio.

The new staff members will join the existing team of over 200 full-time and part-time staff, in roles including waiters and waitresses, hosts and chefs, as well as conference and event staff.

The news follows the announcement of Bardolino, an exciting restaurant concept opening under the Black & White Hospitality brand later this year.

The brand is also on the lookout for two exceptional candidates to fill the roles of head chef and restaurant manager at the brand new Bardolino restaurant.

Jon Peek, general manager at Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill Birmingham, said: “We are one of Birmingham’s busiest restaurants, and with Bardolino set to open along the canal later this year, 2016 is set to be one of our most exciting years to date.

“The bar and restaurant couldn’t succeed without an exceptional team of staff, from our floor and kitchen staff through to our managers. This recruitment day is a fantastic way to encourage all of Birmingham to come and show us what they’re made of, and we’re really looking forward to unearthing some of the city’s best future hospitality professionals.

“We also have some fantastic senior roles to fill for Bardolino, including head chef and restaurant manager, so if you think you will thrive on the opening and successful running of this exciting new concept, head to our recruitment day to find out more.”

The drop-in sessions are being held at Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill on Monday 30th May and candidates are invited along with their CVs from 10am – 1pm, 2pm – 5pm and 6pm – 8pm.
