Candidate Source secures trade body affiliate deal

A specialist online advertising agency has joined forces with trade body The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) to boost the fortunes of new recruitment sector firms.

Coleshill-based Candidate Source, which has helped agencies attract more than 1.5 million job candidates in just five years, is now a preferred affiliate supplier to APSCo, meaning its expertise with job boards will be provided to the organisation’s start-up and micro businesses as part of a tailored ‘New Enterprise’ offer.

Companies will be able to tap into support to create the right adverts, and benefit from a single point of contact for all their digital media buying. They will also have access to advert writing training that helps consultants understand how candidates view and select vacancies.

“It is a big honor to be the preferred job board support affiliate supplier for an organisation that is so well regarded as APSCo,” explained Michelle Davies, Managing Director of Candidate Source.

“We both share the same passion for making the UK recruitment sector a success and if we can transfer our best practice in managing advertising on job boards to a wider audience we should have a much more productive industry.”

She continued: “Start-ups and smaller businesses try and do everything themselves and may think our services are out of their reach. This membership will help educate them to the efficiency and financial benefits a specialist online advertising agency can bring them.”

Candidate Source was set up by Michelle in 2010 after she spotted a gap in the marketplace for a resource that would provide job board support to recruitment firms across the UK.

Turnover last year crept past the £2.5m mark and, over the next twelve months, she is hoping to secure new contracts that will see the business hit £2.8m for the first time. If this is achieved, two new people will be added to the six-strong workforce.
