Miss Macaroon founder named Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year

Miss Macaroon’s Rosie Ginday was named EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 Midlands winner at an awards dinner in Birmingham.

Miss Macaroon is a specialist producer of premium gluten free French macaroons and the only patisserie in the world to be able to Pantone match macaroons with bespoke corporate gifts for brands like Karl Lagerfeld, Pandora and Hendricks Gin.

Profits from Miss Macaroon’s sales are reinvested in providing training and jobs for unemployed young people in Birmingham.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 Midlands judges were impressed with Rosie’s ‘infectious enthusiasm and passion’ and her focus on a sustainable business model.

Held at the Birmingham Council House and hosted by Breakfast Business presenter, Steph McGovern, the awards dinner honoured local business leaders across 10 categories, all of whom will represent the Midlands at the UK finals in October 2016.

A Chairman’s Special Award was also presented to Graham Wynn, OBE and Jennifer Wynn of TTC Group, the UK’s largest provider of national offender retraining schemes and drink drive rehabilitation schemes.
