The firm has grown at a rate of 30% a year over the last five years, boosting its team and selling to the NHS across the country.
Formerly based in Birmingham, the company has customers in more than 40 countries, and is directly represented through subsidiaries in Austria, Italy and America, and has offices in China and the Middle East.
Managing director Selwyn Sher said: “We needed more space and it has allowed us to bring in new staff. It is an expanding sector given the number of people who find sleeping a problem.”
Assisted by law firm Kerwoods, who organised the lease, S-MED is now established at Unit 8, Empire Court, Albert Street.
Kerwoods commercial property partner Ashley Gurr said: “S-MED is a great example of an SME in a niche area which is doing well through hard work and a pro-active approach to the market place.”
