MWH Global finds new home in Redditch

Water treatment specialist MWH Global has relocated from Shirley to new offices in Redditch.

The company has 180 offices in 35 countries and employs 7,000 people, of which circa 70 are based at the new Paper Mill Drive office in Redditch.

The building was previously occupied by Networks First Limited, which has relocated to One Cranmore in Shirley, following its acquisition by Convergence Group.

MWH is engaged in the engineering, construction, financing and management of the some of the largest and most technically significant water and natural resources projects in the world.

CBRE advised MWH on the letting. JLL acted on behalf of the landlord.

Liz Bailey, a surveyor in CBRE’s Birmingham office agency team, said: “We’re pleased to have been able to facilitate MWH’s move to new offices in Redditch. The combination of One Paper Mill Drive being a standalone building and its location, providing easy access to road and motorway networks, made it the perfect choice.”

Andy Riach, associate director, national office agency, JLL, said: “At almost 12,000 sq ft, this represents a substantial letting for the Redditch office market and what makes it even more significant is that MWH moved from an established office location within the M42 Corridor.

“This demonstrates Redditch’s broadening appeal to occupiers and the appetite for high quality, more cost effective accommodation in the area.”
