Led by keynote speaker BBC reporter Shari Vahl, the conference will highlight national and regional initiatives designed to assist with the prevention and detection of fraud.
Other speakers include Pauline Smith, head of Action Fraud; Owen Rowland, Strategic Centre for Organised Crime, Home Office; Glen Wicks, deputy chief investigator of BIS; Benjamin Reid, prosecution lawyer for Crown Prosecution Service; and Alan Dudley, investigations manager at Aviva.
Chris Clements, a founding director of the YHFF and national head of Grant Thornton’s Forensic and Investigation services team, said: "The conference is a great opportunity not only to learn about the latest developments in strategies to combat and detect fraud, but also to network with peers."
The aim of the Yorkshire & Humber Fraud Forum is to bring together the public and private sectors to reduce fraud by Increasing awareness of fraud, communicating the risk and promoting best practice in countering fraud.
