Hans Hux, the group’s chief executive and chairman, praised its dedicated employees, as well as its innovative products and services.
He said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in 2015.
“This success is very much down to the commitment of our staff here at B. Braun, as well as the company’s long-term focus on employee training and education.
“B. Braun employs 1,200 people in the UK and is one of country's very few ‘Investors in People Gold Champion’ organisations.
“This growth is also due to the company's dedication to the innovation of its products, services, and in-market activities, all of which deliver the very best outcomes for our customers.”
Hux added: “The outlook for 2016 is very positive in terms of sales and profit expectations, but also in creating additional employment opportunities nationwide.
“B. Braun is committed to supporting Sheffield, where the company’s head quarters are based, and we look forward to the year ahead with plans for further investment in our people and facilities.”
The group which employs a total of 1,200 people in the UK has also committed to supporting the region’s top talent in a partnership with Sheffield Hallam University.
The university's Corporate Degree Programme, which will launch this year, aims to encourage companies to invest in the next generation of business leaders.
It gives companies the chance to attract and retain talented school leavers for their business, while also giving them the opportunity to make their first steps on the career ladder.
