Set to open in March, Rabbit Hill Country Store and Rural Supplies is described as a new one-stop-shop, offering farm, equine, pet and gardening supplies.
Located between Harrogate and York, in a former barn on the Rabbit Hill development, the store will be ideal in catering for the rural community.
“As North Yorkshire locals, we know how difficult it can be for people to find the products they need at a place that is convenient to them, so we can’t wait to open Rabbit Hill Country Store and Rural Supplies, packed with all the products you are likely to need at attractive prices,” says store owner Katy Bielby.
Stocking all things rural, from grass seeds and fertilisers to domestic animal feeds and beddings, owners Katy Bielby and Glenn Brown will also bring their expertise in farming and animal care to Rabbit Hill.
Both Katy and Glenn have a strong agricultural background, with Katy holding a degree in Farm Animal Health.
The store, which will be open six days a week, with late night shopping on a Thursday, will be dog-friendly and offer exercise and product advice to owners.
Alongside the regular animal care hints and tips, the store will also offer support for keen gardeners, who can seek help on soil testing and fertiliser treatments.
“Our aim is to offer a good, friendly and helpful service to the local community and we will listen to our customers and their needs to provide advice on what is suitable for them,” says Katy.
Rabbit Hill Country Store and Rural Supplies will officially open its doors on Saturday 5 March, followed by a grand opening Launch weekend on Saturday 26 March.
