Escrick Park nears capacity

Escrick Park has hit 95% occupancy after five Yorkshire businesses signed up to take up space at the 45,000 sq ft business park.

Dragonfly Consulting, Tukans Ltd, IMC Toys, Ypsomed and Quattro Auto Care have all invested in office space at the award-winning park between York and Selby.

The park has provided a major boost to the local economy since undergoing its major £1.4m refurbishment and is now home to 25 companies.

Charles Forbes Adam, owner and developer of Escrick Park, said:  “Their arrival is a ringing endorsement of the quality of our rural offices, which are attracting new occupiers in challenging economic times.

“We are tremendously proud of creating a serious business park, with top-class facilities, within a rural idyll.

“We believe Escrick Park, which comprises a number of self-contained hi-spec office developments and 14 units for light industry, has an exceptional and inspiring working environment which is unrivalled in the south York and Selby areas.”

“Our 25 offices are currently 95% let, with just 1,000 sq ft of quality space at Appleyards at Escrick Grange remaining. Escrick Park is sufficiently close to York to have a direct association with the city and its location on an historic estate lends a degree of prestige,” he added.

BQ’s Mike Hughes met Charles last year and heard more about the estate’s heritage and his plans for the future.
