Richmond MP backs healthy new business

Richmond MP, Rishi Sunak, has backed a Great Ayton businesswoman as she opens her new offices.

Amanda McGough’s premises at the Terry Dicken Business Park in Stokesley were officially opened by Sunak on 4 April.

The health and wellbeing consultancy has expanded in to a new office as it enters a period of growth and takes on two new members of staff.

Amanda McGough and Associates was set up in 2013 and provides specialist health and wellbeing training for individuals, private businesses and public sector organisations.

Speaking at the launch of Amanda’s business premises, MP Rishi Sunak said: “I am pleased to support Amanda as she launches her exciting new business in a growing sector of the health economy.

“We are all more conscious of managing our health to cope with the demands of our busy lives so I am sure Amanda’s company has a great chance of success in this thriving business location.”

Amanda said: “I focus on the prevention of ill health by providing bespoke training and support for individuals and businesses and it is so rewarding to watch people flourish after following even a short programme.

“I am really pleased to take on new staff from the local area and move into dedicated premises to allow my company to grow. To have the support of Rishi Sunak has been a huge boost at the start of a busy period for us.”
