The launch of the new Post Office creates up to four new jobs for local people, growing his team from two to six employees.
Manish was inspired by the success of his Headingley branch of One Stop, which already includes a Post Office, and decided to fill a gap and offer a much needed service to the Stanks Parade community.
Manish said: “Stanks Parade needs more investment in local amenities that are within easy reach and open at times that suit customers.
“The new Post Office will bring a range of services to residents, creating a positive impact for the area.”
Funding for the development was provided by Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Leeds.
Darren Owers, Head of Commercial & Small Business at Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Leeds, said: “Manish is delivering an essential service with this addition which will benefit residents of Stanks Parade while creating new jobs.
“His convenience stores have become well-established, popular businesses within their areas and we have no doubt Manish and his growing team will continue to provide a high-quality service to customers with this new addition.”
