Kid’s clothing business hits 74% of crowd fund goal

A Yorkshire headquartered children’s clothing company is nearing the end of a crowd funding campaign to raise £300,000 in order to launch their first boyswear collection in August and evolve the brand.

ilovegorgeous is already an established girl’s fashion brand, with two shops in Notting Hill Gate and Primrose Hill in London and a thriving website, as well selling their stock in high end department stores including Selfridges, Harrods, Liberty and Barney’s in New York City.

The company, co-founded by lifelong friends Lucy Enfield and Sophie Worthington, is now looking to their next phase of growth with plans to rebrand the business as Wild & Gorgeous after the introduction of a new boys clothing range.

The Crowd Cube campaign has currently raised £173,890 of its target, with the highest investment hitting £50,000, and has 25 days left.

"We’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of support we have received from our customers in response to the launch of our crowdfunding campaign,” said Ms Enfield.

“It is extremely encouraging to know how many people believe in our vision and our team.

“We’re also delighted by how quickly we have crossed the 70% funded mark and we are hoping many more will join us as we grow our business."
