The stellar year saw 18 lodges sold at Hollicarrs on the Escrick Park Estate, breaking all previous records.
Dawn Buck, park manager, said: “It gives us tremendous pleasure to report on a record-breaking year, underlining the increasing popularity of Hollicarrs’s lodges, environment and location. Whilst we love our holiday park, it is wonderful that others do, too.
“It is clear that buying luxury lodges is becoming increasingly attractive, especially to the over-55s, who are looking for peace and quiet as they approach retirement.”
Set in 25 acres of woodland in the grounds of the historic estate, Hollicarrs features more than a 100 bespoke lodges and holiday homes.
It also boasts a range of activities including fishing, horse riding, bowling and tennis, while cycle trails run through the estate, which has many woodland walks.
