Deborah Ingham, owner of Huddersfield Funeral Service, intends to use her new location in Milnsbridge for funeral services and funeral teas, offering a fully licensed bar if requested.
The new Milnsbridge location compliments her existing premises, which includes the main office in Lepton and the chapel of rest in Crosland Moor.
Deborah, who manages all aspects of the business supported by her husband Graham Torrie, said: “As an independent funeral director, I’m fully committed to the communities I serve and hope to form a strong bond with the people of Milnsbridge.”
The move was supported by funding from Yorkshire Bank.
Andy Davidson, head of Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in West Yorkshire, said: “Huddersfield Funeral Service is a highly respected local business that has a strong reputation for delivering an empathetic, professional service.
“We are proud to have supported the company’s progress and the purchase of additional premises which will allow Deborah to extend her services to a new community.”
