Four new stores at Leeds Corn Exchange

Four new businesses have joined the existing 28 independent shops, cafes and salons at Leeds Corn Exchange.

The historic building has welcomed a cosmetic salon, a nautical-themed gift shop and two new clothing boutiques.

Menswear specialists All Blues Co. opened its doors this summer and its UK exclusive goods have already proved popular both in-store and online.

September saw second fashion outlet Precious Proms & Pearls arrive at the shopping hub, offering a collection of prom dresses and evening gowns from UK and U.S. designers including Serri Hill, Prom Frock and Madaline Gardiner.

After a string of successful stalls at the centre’s regular gift fairs, nautical gift shop Nautical and Nice, opened its first store at the corn exchange, providing its range of coastal art, aeronautical items and its rustic beach themed gallery.

Finally, cosmetic salon Benz and Blanc opened to the public in late September.

The salon offers a professional teeth whitening service alongside a range of natural, organic oral and skincare products.

Paul De La Cruz, owner of the salon, said: “With the imminent opening of Victoria Gate and the rise of Leeds as the go-to retail destination in the North, we knew that this was the right city for us.

“We love the independent shops here, so it was a no brainer to choose this as the place to open up our business. It’s important to us to be surrounded by like-minded independent businesses, and we’re really enjoying being alongside the established boutiques in the centre”.
