Roberts Mart invests in customer service

Flexible packaging manufacturer Roberts Mart & Co has enhanced its customer service following a major investment in business telephony.

The Leeds-based business has introduced an Avaya telephony solution, supported by Wakefield-based NGC Networks.

Roberts Mart supplies shrink wrap, laminated film and printed packaging to clients in the food and drink, home textiles and paper products industries, and employs 200 people across two sites.

Paul Brooke, IT manager at Roberts Mart, said: "Our legacy telephone system was beginning to show its age so we decided to refresh and modernise our technology.

"The new telephony software is easier to use and customise. It offers a range of features that enables our customer service team to handle calls more efficiently. The feedback across the board has been excellent."

Dean Harrop, director at NGC Networks, said: "Following an audit of its existing telephony, we advised Roberts Mart on a technology refresh. The investment will ensure that it continues to provide a high quality customer service experience and is able to customise and scale up as required."
