The Leeds-headquartered firm has landed a five-year deal to provide logistics services to the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group across the UK.
Clipper Logistics has signed a new five-year contract with The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group to provide logistics services to the group throughout Great Britain.
Steve Parkin, executive chairman of Clipper, said: "Clipper began its relationship with EWM Group last year.
“I am delighted that, throughout a detailed tender process we have been able to demonstrate our ability to act proactively as a team and to develop a logistics solution which will make a real difference to the EWM Group's business.
“We are delighted to have finalised this long-term contract to enable us to support the operations and anticipated growth of the EWM Group throughout Great Britain."
Mark Hebditch, group logistics director at EWM Group, said: "We are delighted to have successfully concluded our negotiations and to be entering into a contractual relationship with Clipper, initially for five years, but we hope that it will be a long, successful and prosperous partnership for both parties."
Clipper, which provides logistics solutions and e-fulfilment to the retail sector, is based just off the M621 at Carlton Court and employs almost 4,000 people across the UK.
Its client base includes the likes of Harvey Nichols, ASOS, The John Lewis Partnership, Asda, Supergroup, Morrisons, New Look and Sainsbury's.
