Defence and contingent workforce company TBW Global has led great, innovative changes to break down barriers in conflict zones.
Using state-of-the-art technology, TBW Global operate and deploy expert linguists, training personnel and other specialist contractors into areas of conflict around the globe. By breaking down communication barriers, TBW Global ensure that defence and security organisations can scale and achieve their objectives.
Over the last year, thebigword Group founded by executive chairman Larry Gould has gone through great changes, leading to TBW Global, led by Joshua Gould, separating from the rest of the group, which now has a combined revenue in excess of $100m.
In June, Leeds based TBW Global opened up its latest office in Washington DC to support its long-term goals of becoming a major Defence contractor to the US government. TBW Global currently supply the US Army, Navy and State Department as well as NATO and are looking to further build and expand on their early success.
Alongside language and cultural awareness solutions, TBW Global has diversified their services to include human intelligence (HUMINT), training and security, travel risk management, multilingual intercepts, role-plays and situational scenarios, learning management technologies and staff augmentation.
Recently, TBW Global has secured major deals with the US Army to supply role-players to its base in Germany, as well as the MOD and NATO to supply frontline language support in conflict-zones.
Over the last few years, TBW Global has gone from a start-up to operating sophisticated teams in Afghanistan, Germany, Iraq, UK, Ukraine and the US, as well as temporary teams in Bosnia and Oman. This has made the company particularly advantageous to NATO countries and positioned them well for future contract wins.
